At Martin Luther School, we believe that it is not enough to teach students classically. We believe that education must also be focused and centered on Jesus Christ. Understanding that everything was created by God and that He is what holds it all together is integral in each student's education and worldview. The Word of God is truth and is the foundation of every subject that is taught.

Lutheran

Martin Luther School was established in 1995 by the Bismarck-Mandan Lutheran School Association. We are a Lutheran school and are supported by local LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod) churches. The LCMS doctrine is what we believe and teach. Our mission is to point all students to Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can have faith, and we cherish our baptism. Christ does it all and we can do nothing to come to Him on our own. We receive grace through the infallible Word of God and the Sacrament. Understanding the balance of Law and Gospel in God's Word brings great comfort. Through absolution and Jesus' forgiveness, we deal with each other in love and know our sins are forgiven in Jesus.
